HOLY

  

 Luke 1:35 "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you: For this reason the baby will be holy and shall be called the Son of God."

 

 Acts 4:27 "For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,"

 

 Rev 3:7 "Write this to the angel of the church in Philadelphia; This is what the One who is holy and true, who holds the key of David, says. When he opens a door, no one can close it and when he closes a door no one can open it."

 

RIGHTEOUS

   

Isa 53:11 "He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities."

 

Heb 1:9 "You love right and hate evil, so God has chosen you from among your friends; he has set you apart with much joy."

 

GOOD

   

Matt 19:16-17 "A man came to Jesus and asked, “Teacher what good things must I do to have life forever?” Jesus answered, “Why do you ask me about what is good? Only God is good. But if you want to have life forever, obey the commands.”

 

FAITHFUL

   

Isa 11:5 "And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins."

 

1 Th 5:24 "You can trust the One who calls you to do that for you."

 

 TRUE 

   

John 1:14 "The Word became a human and lived among us. We saw His Glory – the Glory that belongs to the only Son of the Father – and he was full of grace and truth."

 

Joh 7:18 "Those who teach their own ideas are trying to get honor for themselves. But those who try to bring honor to the one who sent him speak the truth, and there is nothing false in them."

 

1 John 5:20 "We also know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we can know the True One. And our lives are in the True One and in his Son, Jesus Christ. He is the True God and the eternal life."

 

JUST

   

John 5:30 "I can do nothing alone. I judge only the way I am told, so my judgment is fair. I don’t try to please myself, but I try to please the One who sent me."

GUILTLESS

INNOCENT

   

Matt 27:4 Saying, “I have sinned; I handed over to you an innocent man.” The leaders answered,” What is that to us? That’s your problem, not ours.”

Heb 7:26 "For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;"

RESISTING TEMPTATION

   

Matt 4:1-10 Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil. Jesus ate nothing for forty days and nights. After this, he was very hungry. The devil came to Jesus to tempt him saying, “If you are the Son of God, tell these rocks to become bread.”

 

Jesus answered, “It is written in the Scriptures, A person does not live by eating only bread, but by everything God says.” Then the devil led Jesus into the holy city of Jeruselum and put him on a high place of the Temple. The devil said, “If you are the Son of God, jump down, because it is written in the Scriptures: ‘He has put his angels in charge of you. They will catch you in their hands so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.’” Jesus answered him, “It also says in the Scriptures, Do not test the Lord your God.” Then the devil led Jesus to the top of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.The devil said, “If you will bow down and worship me, I will give you all these things.” Jesus said to the devil, “Go away from me. Santan! It is written in the Scriptures, ‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.”

 

OBEDIENT TO GOD THE FATHER

   

Psalm 40:8 "I delight to do your will, O my God: your law is within my heart."

 

John 4:34 "Jesus said to them, My food is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work."

 

John 15:10 "I have obeyed my Fathers commands, and I remain in his love. In the same way, if you obey my commands, you will remain in my love."

 

ZEALOUS

   

Luke 2:49 Jesus said to the, “Why were you looking for me? Didn’t you know that I must be in my Fathers house?

 

John 2:17 "When this happened the followers remembered what was written in the Scriptures: “My strong love for your temple completely controls me.”

 

John 8:29 "The One who sent me is with me. I always do what is pleasing to him, so that he has not left me alone."

 

MEEK

   

Isaiah 53:7 "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he did not open his mouth."

LOWLY IN HEART

 

Matt 11:29 Accept my teachings and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in spirit, and you will find rest for your lives.

 

MERCIFUL

   

Heb 2:17 "For this reason Jesus had to be made like his brothers in every way so he could be their merciful and faithful high priest in service to God. Then Jesus could bring forgiveness for their sins."

 

PATIENT

   

Matt 27:14 But Jesus said nothing in answer to Pilate, and Pilate was very surprised at this.

LONG-SUFFERING

   

1 Tim 1:16 "But I was given mercy so that in me, the worst of all sinners, Christ Jesus could show that he has patience without limit. His patience with me has made an example for those who would believe in him and have life forever."

 

COMPASSIONATE

   

Isaiah 40:11 "He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young."

 

Luke 19:41 "As Jesus came near Jerusalem he saw the city and cried for it."

 

BENEVOLENT

   

Matt 4:23 "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people."

 

Matt 4:24 "And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them."

 

Acts 10:38 "You know how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."

SELF-DENYING

 HUMBLE 

   

Luke 22:27 "Who is more important: the one sitting at the table or the one serving> You think the one at the table is more important but I am like a servant among you."

 

Phil 2:8 "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

 

COMMITED

   

Luke 22:42 "Father if you are willing, take away this cup of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want."

 

FORGIVING

   

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And the soldiers threw lots to decide who would get his clothes."

 

SUBJECT TO HIS PARENTS

   

Luke 2:51 "And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart."

 

 SAINTS ARE CONFORMED TO 

   

Rom 8:29 "God knew them before he made the world, and he decided that they would be like his Son so that Jesus would be the firstborn of many brothers."
