As a pastor, teacher, author, and intercessor, Shayne Payne helps believers build lives grounded in Scripture and actively engaged with God through prayer.

God wants to interact with us according to our covenant relationship, not our preconceptions or preferences. He desires for us to pray His agenda, not our own. If we honor the terms of the covenant, and faithfully court His presence, He will show up every time.

Pastor Shayne is the Founder and Director of Elim Global Missions Initiative (EGMI), which partners with churches, leaders, communities, and nations to encourage spiritual awakening and turn spiritual renewal into lasting transformation. EGMI first catalyzes revival then equips the revived with both short and longer-term training to provoke them to discover and pursue God’s individual and corporate destiny. 



 

Shayne also serves as Lead Pastor of Elim Christian Assembly and leads a regional prayer altar in New York City. Through his local and international ministry, he teaches on spiritual authority, covenant, effective intercession, and the spiritual forces that shape individuals and nations.

 

A prolific writer, with six books and numerous published articles, Shayne is known for making profound biblical truths clear, practical, and relevant to everyday life. He and his wife, Wendy, live in Staten Island with their three sons.”
